The Plastic Pint Cups Are Ready For The Darwen Beer & Gin Festival

The inaugural Darwen Beer & Gin Festival, hosted by Darwen Cricket Club at their Birch Hall ground, starts tomorrow, and we are delighted to have helped out by sponsoring the plastic pint cups which are going to be used over this weekend.

The Event Will Hopefully Draw Large Crowds

It should be a fabulous event over this Bank Holiday weekend and will hopefully draw large crowds, let`s hope the weather holds and we get some more sunshine before we head into the autumn months.

The event starts tomorrow from 5 pm and then carries on through Saturday and Sunday, starting at 1 pm on both these days. Besides cricket being played on the ground there will be food stalls, entertainment and music in the evenings, and they also have Sky Sports for your Saturday afternoon football scores.

If all goes well, as we are sure it will do, then hopefully this could be the first of many annual Beer & Gin Festivals at Darwen Cricket Club. Entry is free to the event, with £10 tickets bought exchanged for tokens for real ale, cider, wine or prosecco!

We hope that the people of Darwen and from further afield come out and support the event, we all know that we do like to party in this part of the world so this should be just the thing for an enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend!
